Iboo is the most decorated surfer in Maldivian history — an eight-time national surfing champion and two-time bronze medalist at the Asian Surfing Championships (2019 and 2023). After a competitive career spanning roughly 30 years, starting at age 17, he retired to become head coach of the Maldives national surfing team.
Iboo now brings that same competitive edge to coaching — helping intermediate and advanced surfers sharpen their technique on the reef breaks he's spent his career mastering.
